informations
ho-ki-ti® is innovative furniture created by artist Sibylle Wagner. ho-ki-ti is a registered trademark with pending patent protection.
The innovation is a light surface sealed by a novel chemical composition making the object appear to be electrically illuminated.
As in Sibylle Wagner’s paintings, where her work has centered on the phenomenon of light refraction of plexiglass for many years, we again find this unexpected extraordinary display of light in ho-ki-ti.
The novel light-furniture were presented at the Int. furniture fair / Passagen (15. - 21.01.2007) in Cologne - the world's leading furniture fair - and introduced to the international design scene for the very first time. The reactions to the new series were amazing and extremely motivating, so we began to produce new crates/boxes.
Use for the objects: in all living areas where a bold or a calmly glowing element is desired, as a side table, a chess table, a desk, a coffee table, or a dinner table.
Diameters: The stool measures 35x35cm, the side table 50x40x40cm (w/h/d)
Desk: Plexiglass, concrete, rubber, 170x72x70cm (w/h/d)
Places: In living quarters, chill-out-lounges, bars, hotel-lobbies, waiting rooms, offices.
In planning are new chests, desks and dinner tables. |
